Welcome to Macroom F.C.

Macroom A.F.C was founded in 1977. The club currently has two junior sides. Both sides play in the AUL and have been in the AUL since its foundation. Macroom "A" compete in the Premier League and Macroom "B" competing in the 2A League. Both sides train together twice a week, and both have acquired new players for this season, which should enable Macroom to push for honours.

May 2010:
Macroom A: AUL Premier A 2009/10 Champions

June 2010:
Macroom U11's: CSL U11 Division 6 Champions
Macroom U12's: CSL U12 Division 5 Champions

The juvenile section of the club has progressed excellently in recent years. Due to excellent work from committee members, parents and club members over the years, Macroom now has teams from under 7’s right up to under 16's in the Cork Schoolboys league.

In latest news, the club has just started to use their newly developed grounds at Murray’s Field, Macroom. There will be one full sized soccer pitch, with proper drainage. The club had been traveling to AstroTurf pitches around Cork to train, at huge cost to the club and players over the years. This prompted the club to also develop a large floodlit training area. Also, Macroom A.F.C is now on Facebook. Although the page is at an early stage, it will be used throughout the season to post upcoming events, results, match day photos and more.
